Yorkshire Amateur League u/21 3 Littletown 3

League Chair Richard Asher proudly writes

"The U21's drew with Littletown last night.

A fantastic performance as the lads started the game with 8 men, then improved to 9 men after another arrival 10 mins in. YAL took the lead midway through the 1st half and Littletown equalised through a corner. They did not trouble our keeper for the rest of the half as our back four were outstanding

We took the lead again and had a good chance to go 3-1 up, despite being back to 8 men after Tom Stewart was dismissed. Littletown posed no threat until an error in defence gave them a soft equaliser.

Littletown took the lead with about 10 to go, but heads did not drop and with 5 mins left the equaliser came.

Great show of determination and no little skill from the lads who represented the YAL with pride."
