U/21 offers opportunities for players to test their ability against quality opposition

Yorkshire Amateur League Under 21’s season will commence at the end of September and we’re looking for players to represent the league in the West Riding Under 21 Floodlit League.

From James Symonds

This will be our 4th season in the league and gives the players an excellent opportunity to test themselves against some of the best Academy/Under 21 sides in the county outside of the Professional clubs. The pinnacle of our season is the fixture with our friends down in London, who we will be hosting this year, and looking to win the trophy for the 1st time after narrow defeats in the past 3 seasons.

Our new manager Ian Ingle from Garforth will be spearheading the team and we’re looking for players from clubs within the Yorkshire Amateur League who are interested in playing. Eligible players will be under the age of 21 as of the 31st August 2017. We’re allowed 3 overage players and anyone one who is interested in assisting Ian and the team in both a player/coach role would also be welcome to put their name forward.

Please can club secretaries put forward players who are interested, as we will be trying to arrange a training/trial match to look at players, with a date to be released shortly.
